Dead Cell

A Survivor's Journal

What is Dead Cell?

"Dead Cell" is a zombie survivor's journal and an ongoing work which will hopefully be one day made into a book. The works presented on this site may or may not be present in the  final product and are subject to change. Suggestions to the book are welcome and I will be happy to give my thoughts on anything you have to share. The only journal entries available to the public are in the Introduction. Become a member to read the other entries.

To view the book click on Journal Entries to the left and choose an infection week.

Style of Zombie

Every zombie book or movie has a basic approach to zombies with alterations in each version. The style of this scenario is in fact a virus style infection. The virus is not airborne and will only reanimate those who were infected and then died. Animals infected with the virus will die and not reanimate. Memory from the infected person is lost after death and the reanimated corpse will only follow the most basic survival instinct, which is the hunt for food. The physical abilities of the infected are those the body is capable of, and there are no super effects donned by the infected. They do not know emotions and do not get fatigued. They exist until the brain is destroyed or the body's muscles are decayed beyond use.
